He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cortez and Queenie Cortez; and his sister Cathy Cortez. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Carmen Cortez of Tulsa, OK, Frankie Cortez (Crystal Spencer) of Tulsa and Lawanda Simpson of Kellyville; his siblings, John Cortez of Texas and Lisa Dammier; and his grandchildren, Jasmine Carbajal, Jonathon Miller, Ryan Miller, Wyatt Lane, Wynn Lane, Addison Cortez, Gracie Carter and Zoey Carter.
