He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Elizabeth and Edna Lightle Thompson; his wife Berniece; and his brother Francis Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Whitney (Dwight) of Claremore and Mike Thompson (Ann) of Bristow; his grandchildren, Amanda Sedov, Elizabeth Krenz, Megan Davison, Michael Thompson, Blake Jones, Brittny Gore, Brandy Porter and Andrew Whitney; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Sedov, Charlotte Krenz, Chassie Krenz, Cannon Krenz, Corgan Davison, Merrin Davison, Aubrey Jones, Tanner Jones, Andi Gore, Isabell Piccolo, Katelynn Piccolo, Alexis Porter, Celest Porter, Zion Whitney and Indie Whitney.
In lieu of Flowers family has requested donations be made to Bristow Boy Scout Troop 571.
