She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bee Carter and Pearl Carter; her husband John Moton Howell; her siblings, Birdie Mae Liddell, Rachel Carter, Eddie Smith and James Carter; her daughter Dianne Howell; her sons-in-law, James Lang and Henry Wilkins; her children, Constance Loraine Howell Lang of Boynton, OK, Pattie Joe Howell Wilkins of Tulsa, OK, Dinessa Howell of Broken Arrow, OK and Melvin Eugene Howell of Royse, TX; and her brothers, Johnny Carter of Detroit, MI, Raymond Carter of Detroit, MI and Edward Carter of Detroit, MI. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
