It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Shasteen of Boswell, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Shasteen and Ina Shasteen; and his siblings, Martha Krebs, Robert Shasteen, Norman Shasteen, Eugene Shasteen, Jim Shasteen, Wayne Shasteen and Larry Shasteen.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda of Boswell; his children, John Shasteen (Becky) of Greenville, Kay Slagle (Jeff) of Forrest Chapel and Matilda McIntyre (Clint) of Boswell, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, John Stephen Shasteen (Elaina), Emma Scoggins (Jacob), Janie Shasteen, Kyle Virden, Abby Virden, Kaleb Virden, Jarrett McIntyre (Anna) and Jace McIntyre (Cait).
