With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dinah Strawn of Boswell, Oklahoma, born in Fort Worth, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Matthies and Frances Matthies; her husband Charles F. Strawn (Bud); and her sons, Mark Stilwell and Gordon Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Ann Holloway, Matthew Stilwell (Kathleen), Mary Elkins (Nick), James Strawn (Kim), Betsy Strawn, Linda Melancon and Joel Strawn; and her grandchildren, Angie Marshall (Rob), Amy Coleman (Steve), Amanda Yost (Andy), Alexandra McGirt (Cody), Alyssa Mercer (Jesse), Savannah Griffin, Destin Griffin, Sara Bingham (Brad), Aysha Strawn, Luke Strawn (Soledad), Charlie Strawn, Wesley Strawn, James Strawn (Jennifer) and Mike Strawn. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Baptist Church of Boswell for Operation Christmas Child or designated to the Boswell Volunteer Fire Department in Dinah's memory.
