She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Ray Brinsfield; her husband James Earl Cox; her mother Aggie Brinsfield (Shoopman); her sister Helen Sumner; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Cox; and her grandsons, Grayson and Christian Tash.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Dean (Rodney) of Muldrow, Melinda Coker (Tommy) of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, Edward Cox of Fort Smith, Tommy Cox (Audrey) of Gibsonburg, James R. Cox (Ina) of Bokoshe, John D. Cox of Spiro, Matthew Cox (Tammala) of Spiro and Neal Cox (Angela) of Alma, Arkansas; and her sister Betty Jean Bibb (Huston) of Stigler, Oklahoma. She is also survived by thirty one grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
