He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Chastain Thompson and Ellen Lorene Thompson of Bennington; and also Barbara Stump of Washougal, Washington.. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Ellen Thompson of Bokchito, Oklahoma; his children, Audra Ellen Vandiver of Little Elm and Darrell Richard Thompson of Van Alstyne, Texas; his grandchildren, MaKenna Chyanne Thompson of Boswell, Ian Quinn Vandiver, Mira Olivia Vandiver of Little Elm, Sloane Gray Thompson and Haven Everly Thompson of Allen, Texas; his great grandchild Karsyn Layne Coker of Boswell, Oklahoma; and his brothers, Orval Thompson of Bennington, Randal (Linda Thompson) of Bennington, David (Maxine) of Lancaster and Kenneth Thompson of Bokchito, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
