He is survived by: his siblings, Dale McBride (Jamie) of Waxahachie, Texas, Brenda Brown (Robert) of Mead, Oklahoma, Jerry McBride of Durant and Larry McBride (Kathleen) of Corvallis, Oregon; his close friend Elitha McBride of Bokchito; his sons, Johnny Ashby of Bokchito and Kerry-Paul Ashby of Bokchito; his grandchildren, Darren Ashby, Macie Ashby, Ashton Ashby, Kenneth Ross Ashby, Samuel McBride and Damien McBride; and his great grandchild Daxton Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and good friends.
