She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Smith and Dorotha Smith (Proctor); her daughter Kimberly Whelan; and her brothers, Larry and Denny Diesche.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Whelan; and her children, Melissa Cicotte, Stephanie Look (Tad) and Bryan Whelan. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
