In the sacred silence of farewell, Murl is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Harris and Thelma Mahurin; his sons, Weldon "Shorty" Harris and Wendell Harris; his wife Wanda Lee Wright; and his siblings, Wesley, Curtis, Lena Mae and Pauline.
He is survived by: his daughter Delona Archer (Harris); and his daughters-in-law, Jackie Harris and Teresa Harris Edwards. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and their spouses; ten great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
