He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Harold" Short and Eugenie Belle Short (Dubois); his wife Beverly Jean Short; his brother Roy Short; his son T. Scott Short; and his stepdaughter Marissa Lee Keeth.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Gail Pace; his children, Dianna Hopkins (Kevin) and Jay Short; his grandson Jayson Short; his siblings, Glenn Edward Short (Jolene) and Sybil Belle Burt (William S. Burt); his sister-in-law Novella Short; his stepdaughters, Karlene Gottman and Regina Garvie (Ben); his stepson-in-law Will Keeth; and his stepgrandchildren, Krislyn, Kevin, Gary Gottman, Lenora Richter (Ben), Bennett, Belinda Garvie and Sarah Keeth.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
