With solemn reverence, we commemorate David Patrick Melton of Blanchard, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on January 14, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Melton and Mary Patricia Melton (Donoghue); his brothers, George Vincent Melton and John Gregory Melton; and his half-brothers, Claude Melton and Bill Melton.
He is survived by: his wife Jan (Stone); his brother Joseph Melton of Arcadia, OK; his nephews, Terry Melton and Billy Melton; his great-nephew Nathan Melton; and his great-niece Gracie Melton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Havenbrook Funeral Home (3401 Havenbrook St, Norman, OK 73072). A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More University Parish (1535 Jenkins Ave, Norman, OK 73072).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Thomas More University Parish for Masses to be offered for the repose of his soul; or St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Thomas More; or The Center of Family Love in Okarche OK in honor of David Melton, Member of the Knights of Columbus Norman Council 8523.
