He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Chester Steele and Evelyn Frances Steele (Taylor); and his brother Monte Steele. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Steele of Blanchard; his children, Karen Pitts (Steele) of Yukon, Jean Anne Staten (Kenneth) of Mustang, Robin Bowring of Blanchard, Trisha Sharp (John) of Dibble, Kristi Sturgell (Mike) of Blanchard, Lyndel Steele of Oklahoma City and Tony Steele of Oregon; and his brother Joe Steele (Lil) of Broken Arrow. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
