It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Simmons of Blanchard, Oklahoma, born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mack and Ines Rebecca Simmons (Phillips); and his brothers, Johnny Mack Simmons and James Robert "Bobby" Simmons. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Simmons of Blanchard; his children, Brandi Butler, Rebecca McMurtrey, Staci Jervis and Keith Knox Simmons; and his grandchildren, Madison Jo, Hoyt Simmons McMurtrey, Billie Ann, Josie Jervis, Paisley, Presley, Elizabeth, Tristen and Brianna "Ree" Butler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
