He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calvin and Essie Belle Wilson; his sons, Jerry Don Wilson and James Lee Wilson; and his great grandchild Lillie Ann Myers.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Wilson; his son Steven Albert Wilson (Malinda); his grandchildren, Michael Wilson (Sarah), Marcie Myers (Jeff), Dylan Wilson, Jeremy Wilson and Melissa Watts (Taylor); and his sister Lois Tipton. He is also survived by other three sisters and six brothers.
