Wanda Jean Bookout Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Jean Bookout of Blackwell, Oklahoma, born in Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Boone D. Rains and Nancy Viola Rains (Summers); her sister Helen Lucille; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Holdaway, Bobby Parker and Glenn Compton.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Bookout of Blackwell; her children, Brad Bookout (Linda) of Sand Springs and Brenda McGuire of Blackwell; her siblings, Joy Holdaway of Wellington, Nelda Parker of Westminster, Mary Ellen Compton of Wellington, Kansas and Buford Rains of Wichita, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Justin McGuire (Sarah Beth) of Blackwell, Jamie McGuire of Tulsa, Jennifer Arrowood (Jim) of Sand Springs and Amy Bookout of Sand Springs. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
