He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Wayman; and his sister-in-law Betty Lawson. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Wayman (Harris) of Nash; his wife Kris Wayman; his children, Dennis Wayman (Kyle), J. Edwin Samuel Wayman (Ronnie) of Skiatook, Jeremy Williams (Shelly) of Blackwell, Jenifer Hamil (James) of Groves, TX and Jessica Engle (Cory) of Blackwell; his sister Rhonda Skaggs (Troy) of Nash; his sister-in-law Rita Silvers of Lawrence, KS; his brothers, John Sattler (Marlene) and William; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Bentley, Savannah, Landree Wayman, Jacob, Steven Hinman, Charlie Martin, Devin, Dylan Hamil, Caitlyn, Courtney, Makayla Engle, Garrett, Kaylee and Jenna Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oklahoma State Firefighters Museum in honor of Howard L. "Steve" Wayman.
