He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Van and Nadine Bersche (Stutzman); and his son Lance Bersche. He is survived by: his wife Esther Bersche; his daughters, Rhonda Selfridge (Mike) and Wendy Fruendt (Kevin); his grandsons, Aidan Bersche and Roman Bersche; and his brother Don Bersche (Vernice). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his honor with Trinity Lutheran Church in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
