She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McHenry and Julia McHenry (Rothrock); her husband Donald Max Merhoff; and her siblings, Lloyd, Robert, Orville, Everett McHenry and Viola Russell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Jarboe (Darrel) of Cambridge and Karen Merhoff of Blackwell.

A memorial has been established in her honor with the First Christian Church in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
