She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thurman and Lucy Emoline Smith (Osborn); her husband Leo Raymond Canaday; and her siblings, Dorothy Boring, Iva Dennis, Lois Jones, Darlene Collyar, Olen, Delmar, Eugene and Jimmie Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Canaday (Joseph Morin) and Vicki Hardesty (Allen) of Ponca City; her grandchildren, Tyler Hardesty of Ponca City, Kamille Case of Tulsa and Zac Hardesty (Kailee) of Yukon; and her great grandchildren, Kylee Hardesty, Mikaela Hardesty, Leo Hardesty, Hannah Case, Wyatt Case, Molly Case and Cooper Hardesty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
