It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy James of Blackwell, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 25, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ray and Opal Ray (Sodowksy); his brother Larry; his siblings-in-law, Karen Ray, Marilyn Johnston, Joan and Dean Davison; his nephew Mike Davison; and his brother-in-law Walter Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Taylor of Braman; his sister Louise Alexander of Frisco, Texas; his brother-in-law Jerry Johnston (Sally) of Braman; his children, Keith Ray (Diane) of Braman, Bob Ray (Judy) of Tulsa, Jeff Ray (Jennifer) of Verdigris and Shari Dalal (Ed) of Wichita, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Russell Ray (Salome) of Stillwater, Brittany Ray of Oklahoma City, Kylie Ray of Moore, Jordan Dalal of Denver, Kelsey Ray of Tulsa, Ashtyn Dalal of Orlando, Arynn Dalal of Chicago, Brylee, Brooklyn and Bryson Ray of Verdigris.
A memorial has been established in his honor with the Braman United Methodist Church Community Food Pantry in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
