He is survived by: his children, Gaye Pennington (Kirk) of Valley Center, KS, Kenna Terrell (Dennis) of Muskogee, OK and Greg (Shannon) of Lenexa, KS; his stepdaughter Sara Walker (Justin) of Blackwell, OK; his stepsiblings, Gerold Dewitt (Louise) of Braman and Virginia Mears (Allan) of Annadale, VA.; his grandchildren, Erin Duvall (Chris) of Rogers, AR, Garrett Pennington (Erin) of Manhattan, KS, Amber Moore of Tahlequah, OK, Brady Wilkins (Desiree) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Courtney Kivett Miller (Mike) of Olathe, KS and Brogan Kivett of Overland Park, KS; and his great grandchildren, Haylen Moore, Aubri Moore, Branden Wilkens, Isabella Wilkens, Jack Duvall, Connor Duvall, Claire Duvall, Ethan Pennington, Everett Pennington and Nolan Kivett Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his honor with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
