He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Willis and Caroline Akers (Mills); and his daughter Debra Akers. He is survived by: his former wife Edith Louise Pennington; his wife Louise Akers of Tonkawa; his daughter Ronda Harris of Tonkawa; his brother Richard Akers of Arkansas City, Kansas; his grandsons, Brandt Harris (Brenda Kimble) and David Harris of Henderson, Nevada; and his great grandchild Dalton Harris of Tonkawa.
