She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ingmire and Leota Vera Ingmire (Kelly); her husband Ernest Merle Newland; and her brother Merton Ingmire. She is survived by: her daughter Joanna Ingmire of Blackwell; her stepsons, Ernie Newland of Ponca City and Merle Newland of Wisconsin; her sister Lexie Foudray of Blackwell; and her grandson Nathan Ingmire of Ponca City. She is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her honor with the House of Prayer in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
