She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Albert and Mattie Roberta Peters (Miller); and her husband Charles Lloyd Hoose. She is survived by: her children, Charles Wayne Hoose, James Lloyd Hoose and Patricia Jean Hoose; and her friend Kathy Flaherty. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the Blackwell Public School Foundation, 201 E. Blackwell Ave, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
