He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Phillips and Cora Phillips (Davidson); his sister Ella; his child Clovis Phillips; his wife Carol Phillips; and his daughter Lori Tighe.
He is survived by: his children, Bud Phillips (Cindy), Lisa Becker, Mark Harrell and John Harrell (Angela). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
