He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mattie Hudsbeth Houston and Walter Rudolph Houston; his children, Roy Michael Houston of Bixby and Lisa Houston; his son-in-law Robert Wilson of Albuquerque, NM; and his grandsons, Elias Wilson of Tuscon, AZ and Keenan Wilson.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or the One Tree Planted organization.
