He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Susmilch and Freida Lily Susmilch (Haeger); and his brothers, Raymond and Glenn Susmilch. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Elizabeth Temples; his children, Mark Susmilch (Joanne), Susan Rutherford (Charles Edward), Christy Bernal (Jose) and Michael Susmilch (Barbara Thomas); his grandchildren, Justin, Madison, Caroline, Melissa, Michelle, Matthew, Reid, Emily and Corina; his great grandchildren, McKenna, Graham, Nolan, Lily, Leighton, Ryan, Hank, Malcolm, Ollie, Mabel Jane, Louie, Rilee, Reid Jr., Levi, Landon, Gentri and Hannah; his goddaughter Glenda "Muffun" Ray; and his friend Tulsa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to COPD Foundation in Vernon's honor.
