He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Wood and Margie Ross Wood; his wife Diana Wood; and his brothers, Carl Wood and Jay Dee Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Fields (David) of Springdale, Arkansas, Pamela Weaver (Tad) of Salina, Oklahoma, Victoria White (Sam) of Brandon, Mississippi, Kevin Wood (Gia) of Tulsa and David Wood (Sarah) of Catoosa, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Lawton Wood of Ponca City, Chuck Wood (Sharon) of Billings, Montana and Nancy Williams (Ken) of Claremore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and thirty eight great grandchildren.
