He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dewey Bolles and Lela Lillian Bolles (Alston); his siblings, Glen, Jim, Harold, Juanita, Betty, Ruth, Ruby and Flossie; his great grandchildren, Zack Gallagher and Tayler Dillon; and his former spouse Fama Bolles.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bolles; his brother Paul Bolles; his children, Larry Michael Bolles (Rosie), Rickey Bolles and Jane Gallagher (Dave Woodall); his stepdaughter Jodi Hasty (Jason Huffman); his grandchildren, Eric Bolles (Tamar), Brock Bolles (Theresa), Kevin Gallagher, Shawna Brown (Eddie), Andrea Bolles and Ashley Walker (Glenn); his stepgrandchildren, Kaytlynn Hasty and Corey Hasty; and his pets, Sammie and Buddy Boy. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Sam was still bowling in a weekly league until the pandemic caused the bowling alley to close, thus stopping his passion.
