He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tooter, Peggy Guthrie, Oscar and Martha Frisbie. He is survived by: his parents, Olin Guthrie and Jonna Guthrie; his wife Laura; his children, Bryce and Blaire; his brother Brian (Wendi); and his in-laws, Melanie, Todd Files, Randy and Charlotte Wenninger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and his brothers.

“Nic was a good friend of our son, Jon, who worked also in Station 2 with Nic. Through Jon, Nic did some work for us at our house when my husband had his kidney transplant and wasn’t able to work. Nic was the best- no one had a bigger, kinder heart! We are devastated at the loss of such a great guy and we are so very sorry for his family. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to them.
