He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Battle and Evelyn Battle (Brown); and his sister Jeannie Battle Stopp. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jordan; his sons, Michael Eugene Battle Jr. and Robert Aron Battle; his grandsons, Dylan McKay Battle and Ryan Aron Battle; and his siblings, Kathy Harp and James Thomas Battle.
