She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hicks and Lottie Hicks (Davis); her husband Jimmy Swyden; and her siblings, Herman, Bud Hicks, Alma Glenn, Lorene Hendrickson and Pauline Coursey.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaQuita Pyeatt (Tom) of Oolagah, Teresa DeRoin of Tulsa, Claudia Fairless of Tulsa and Linda Foster (Vance) of Broken Arrow; and her sister Ann Dorr (Jerry) of Tahlequah. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
