He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Nelson Hicks and Faye Hicks (Valentine); his grandparents, Nelson, Ida Hicks, Roy and Pansy Valentine; and his brothers, Roy Nelson Hicks and Loren Eldon Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Hicks; his children, Lesa Hunter (Buddy), Dr. Tony Hicks (Linda) and Jerod Hicks (Jordan); his grandchildren, Michelle, Matt, Jacob, Jordan, Madeline, Samantha, Avery, Harlow, Scarlett and Roman; his great grandchild Rosha; and his aunts, Jewel Young and Chris Douglas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
