He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ray and Bessie Mae Bowen (Wilhite); his siblings, Floyd, Elnora, Ray, Pauline, Harold, Bobby and Myrtle; and his grandson Quenton James Starkey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Carol Bowen; his children, Anthony Scott Bowen (Randi), Nicole Johnson (Charlie), David Alan Bowen and Cindi Rae Starkey (Jim Thalacker); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Peyton and Alise Starkey; his children, Zachery, James, Alyxis, Jessica, Aries and River Bowen; and his siblings, Terry (Kelly), Donna, Beverly and Clarence (Gayle). He is also survived by numerous other family members including nieces and nephews.
