He was predeceased by: his father Larry Henson; and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Henson (Grubbs); his wife Vinita Thannickal; his children, Marisha and Jonathan; his brother Lars; his in-laws, Dr. John and Mary Thannickal; and his brothers-in-law, Steve and Victor Thannickal.
