She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Carlton and Betty Carlton (Lias). She is survived by: her close friend Judy Burns; her children, Michelle Allain, Michael Allain (Mona) and Stephen Allain (Tiffany Trahan); her granddaughter Elizabeth; her sisters, Suzie Buck (Wayne) and Candy Walker (Rick); her grandchildren, Judy Abraham (Bassam Abraham), Jax Allain and Rhys Ballou-Allain; and her nieces, Heather Buck, Jennifer Jones, Whitney Coleman, Andrea Milligan, Crissy Stratton and Terri Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kitty's memory to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or The American Lung Association.
