Shirley of Yorba Linda, California; his siblings, David Knapp of Kansas City, Missouri and Janet Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Alan S. Forsberg, Alex R. Forsberg, Ryan S. Forsberg, Michelle L. Knapp, John R Knapp IV, Ashley R. Knapp, Akela L. Knapp, Pualani C. Knapp of Trevor, D. Hale Jr., Trey G. Hale, Kenji R. Shirley and Kaiya R. Shirley; and his great grandchildren, Myla R. Soles, John "Johnny 5" R. Knapp V and Kayce V. Knapp. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
