It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Peerson of Bixby, Oklahoma, born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Lafayette Peerson and Evadean Pearl Peerson (Devine). He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Kristy Shepherd, Shawn Peerson (Kendall) and Lance Peerson; his sister Kay Watkins; his stepchildren, Dominique Sexton (Bruce), Nikki Perez and Josh Stout (Amanda); his grandchildren, Bailee Ellison (Josh), Laney, Harley, Dannica Peerson, Carly Batson (Blake), Rose Perez (Chandler), Gabriel, Jade Perez, Lucas, Josie, Cora, Rozzlyn, Mavryck Stout, Owen and Julia Sexton; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Jace Ellison and Brock Batson; and his pet Betty Lou. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the RiverCrest Chapel (13329 S Memorial Dr, Bixby, OK 74008).
