We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 75, Jimmy Leon Malone of Bixby, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jimmy Leon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jimmy Leon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lunda Malone and Eula Malone (Williams); his son Kevin Malone; his stepson Jamie Landers; and his sister Catherine Malone.
He is survived by: his wife Denise V. Malone; his stepchildren, Tommy Landers (Tina), William Kidd (Andrea) and Kristin Eeg (Jason); his sister Sharon Garber of Miami, Oklahoma; and his close friend Sherie Henderson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home (1224 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel (1224 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434). A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at 1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
