With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James I. Russell (Bixby, Oklahoma), born in Elk City, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira O. Russell and Mabel Russell Snelson (Clary); his son Jimmy Russell; and his sisters, Bettye Brown and Patty Holden.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Alexander (Rick) of Bixby, OK and Brendan Russell (Amber) of Guthrie, OK; his grandchildren, Paige Aasness, Macy Neel, Chance Russell and Blake Russell; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Addisyn, Owen, Annabelle, Karalynn and Gwendolyn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers and longtime friends.
