With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Mortensen (Bixby, Oklahoma), born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Letitia Washburn (Tish); his children, Joel, Thomas (Carrie) and Elizabeth Hood (Michael); his grandchildren, Aiden, Audrey Hood, Greenlee and Evie Mortensen; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Mortensen of Utah and Sheryl Mergel of Washington; and his nephews, Shawn, Heath Mortensen, Cam, Chad Mergel, John and Aric Washburn.
