We bid farewell to Dorothy H. Smith of Bixby, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Bolton and Eva Bolton (Griffith); her husband Howard Smith; and her siblings, Norman Bolton, Glen Bolton, Hazel Browning and Jack Bolton.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Reynolds (Eddie), Jerry Smith, Judy Stewart (Mike) and Linda Exendine (Wade); her sister Alice Venable (Carl); her sisters-in-law, Helen Bolton and Patty Bolton; and her grandchildren, Chad Reynolds (Crystal), Sonny Reynolds (Ellen), Jeremy Reynolds (Stacey), Jordan Smith, Stephanie Tucker, Shane Stewart (Jennifer), Darren Stewart (Lacye), Kristen Richardson (Trey) and Craig Exendine (Courtney). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leonard-Marker Funeral Home (6521 E 151st St S, Bixby, OK 74008). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany Church (100 N Olive Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Dorothy's name to either Bethany Church Proving It or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Keep Dorothy 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
