He is survived by: his son Don Calvert II (Karen Calvert); his wife Barbara Sue Calvert (Pewthers); his brother George; his sister-in-law Glenna Calvert of Lubbock, TX; his children, Donna (Greg Stone), Cai (Chris Lowry), Deana (Brett Webber) and Julie (Jae Barton); his grandchildren, Ben, Jennifer Stone, Andrea, LeWayne Taylor, Katie, Jared Givens, Aaron Calvert, Tessa, Paul Hill, Kale, Shannon Bales, Jesica, Justin Crispin, Derek Lowry, Kylei Lowry, Daevion Calvert-Ealom, Marley Barton, Khimarie Perry and Jaedyn Perry-Barton; and his great grandchildren, Kaitin, Easton Taylor, Elijah, Samantha, Emily Stone, Wyatt, Blake, Evyn Crispin and Danica Noah-Calvert.
Coach Calvert went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday night, September 5, 2020, after a long battle with Parkinson's.
