He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lihu Sims and Vera Sims; his former wife Iola Nadine Allison; his daughters, Reba Darlene and Nelda Ann; his wife Ruth Young; his children, Wayne Brandon of Miles, Carolyn Sims of Binger and Jack Morgan of Hinton; his nephew Johnnie Sims of Texas; and his grandchildren, Merl Wayne, Becky Brandon of Stanton, Carl and Laura Brandon of Miles, Texas.. He was also cherished by 16 great- grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren and many cousins.
