She was predeceased by: her parents, Embry Johnson and Birdie Johnson; her husband Willie Cox, Sr.; her sons, Willie Cox, Jr. and Donald Thompson; her siblings, Robert, Roy, Bernard, Herbert, Lester Johnson, Mary and Mildred Johnson; and her grandchildren, Kevin "Kubby" Cox, Kimani Hardison, Tasha Tointigh Rubio, Mariah Baeza and Presley Anderson.
She is survived by: her sister Audrey Johnson of Binger, OK; her daughters, Mary Garcia of Nor Folk, NE, Carolyn Gonzalez of Binger, Joyce Asberry of Little Rock, AR and Ladonna Tointigh of Binger; and her friend Connie Crawford. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren.
