It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVonna Dean DeVaughan of Binger, Oklahoma, born in Lookeba, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Bordwine and Elva Bordwine (Thornton); her husband Johnnie Ray DeVaughan, Sr.; her son Jerry DeVaughan (Stretch); her siblings, Regina Prince and Neil Bordwine; and her brothers-in-law, Leroy Gregory and Milton Prince.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Allen of Minco, OK and John DeVaughan (Deborah) of Binger, OK; her grandchildren, Kevin DeVaughan of Binger, Michael Paul Allen (Sarah) of Sentinel, OK, Josh Allen (Penny) of Yukon, OK, Adam Allen of Cogar, OK, Johnnie Ray DeVaughan III (Kionna) of Yukon, OK, Jayce DeVaughan of Binger, OK and Jenna Smith (Tyler) of Binger, OK; her sisters, Treva Gregory of Binger, OK and Twila Hart of Hydro, OK; and her sister-in-law Arlene Bordwine of Binger, OK. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Murray Cemetery (116 N Herman, Binger, OK 73009).
