He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale E. Johnston and Alice H. Schimmel Johnston; and his sister Beverly Helmuth. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer (Jon Bakewell) of Piedmont, OK; his grandson Jacob Bakewell of Piedmont, OK; and his siblings, Larry Johnston (Gala), Bill Johnston and Christy Johnston of Lookeba, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
