It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Dick Opitz of Binger, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Opitz and Rachel Opitz (Pittman); and his in-laws, Rev. J. Paul and Edna Clark (Butler). He is survived by: his wife Mary Opitz; his children, Charles Opitz (Regina), Mike Opitz (Daphne) and Connie Cart (Brad); his sister Mary Beth Opitz-Ming (Don) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Cory Cart, Kensy Smith, Kylie Toho, Seth Opitz and Ross Opitz; his great grandchildren, Layne Smith, Julian Mendoza, Remy Mendoza, Boone Smith, Charley Toho, Stryker Opitz and Strecker Opitz; and his nieces, Wendy Offerle of Gainesville, Fla. and Adell Ayres of St. Louis.
