He is survived by: his wife Cherie; his siblings, Bill Shives (Coann) of Binger, Oklahoma, Robert Shives (Estelle) of Seattle, Washington, Dennis Shives of Ojai, California. and Barbara Shives of Glendale, Arizona.; his children, Heaven, Emerald and Matthew of California; his nephew Aaron Edmiaston (Jamie) of Greenville; his nieces, Kamaree Martinez (Jared) of Binger, Oklahoma, Selika Shives of Moore, Oklahoma, Sharmaigne Shives and Miya Shives; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Beckham, Alex, Crista, Alyssa, Madison and Ensley; his close friends, Roy, Maxine Stone and James Brown (Buzz); and his pet Zeus.
